The Director General of the West African Health Organisation (WAHO), Dr Melchior Athanase AÏSSI, paid a visit on Wednesday, 13 August, to the members of the steering committee for WAHO’s financial support in Togo, who were holding their second annual meeting at the premises of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID).
He congratulated the members for their support and encouraged them to advocate for improvements in the procurement procedures within the institutions of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
The ECOWAS Resident Representative to the Togolese Republic, H.E. Mr Barros Bacar BANJAI, thanked the DG for his visit and for his involvement in the management of ECOWAS funds.
